Conditions of Employment

The British Columbia K-12 Board of Education seeks to attract and maintain a highly qualified teaching staff. The personnel selection process can only take place if the following criteria are met:

1. A resume has been sent to the Superintendant of Education.
2. Verified member in good standing of the Seventh-day Adventist denomination.
3. Current British Columbia Teacher Certification (BCCT or Independent) OR the neccessary course work to qualify you to teach in BC. Certification must be in place before employment begins.
4. Denominational certification OR the willingness to complete the necessary course work.
5. Employment is subject to a satisfactory Criminal Record Check being completed through the Ministry of Education.
