Lloyd Robinson, MA
Superintendent
Lloyd Robinson is the Superintendent of Education. He holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. Lloyd first came to the British Columbia Conference in 1999 from the public school system where he served variously as an administrator, teacher and guidance counselor. Previously he spent a number of years as teacher and principal in Seventh-day Adventist schools across Ontario. He spent the 2004-2005 school year as administrator of an International school in Bangkok, Thailand. Lloyd has provincial certification in Ontario with mathematics, principal and guidance endorsements. He holds professional denominational certification for classroom teaching, guidance and administration. He is married to Heidi and has two teenage daughters.  
     



Stephen Lee
Associate Superintendent

Stephen Lee is the Associate Superintendent of Education. Stephen has taught in small and medium sized Seventh-day Adventist schools in British Columbia. He holds Independent Schools and Denominational Certification and has taught in elementary multi-grade schools as well as high school classes. Stephen’s areas of special interest in teaching have included elementary and intermediate math and science as well as middle and high school social studies, Bible and pottery. Stephen and his wife have two daughters and a son-in-law, who all live in British Columbia. His wife, Phyllis, teaches multi-grade elementary at the Hope Adventist Christian School.

 
     

Valerie Cardwell
School Finance
Specialist/Auditor
For over twenty-five years Valerie Cardwell has worked in the areas of bookkeeping and accounting and she joined the BC Conference Office of Education in 2001. She has been in positions of Accounts and Office Management for companies such as Re/Max Property Management, Fabutan, Rancho Realty and Groveridge Imperial. Valerie is mother to two daughters and one son-in-law and grandmother to one grandson.  
     

Judy Brackenbury
Administrative Assistant
Judy Brackenbury was educated in Britain, taking a two year secretarial course at Newbold College. She gained valuable experience working for South England Conference of SDA, British Steel Corporation and Target Products Ltd before joining the Education Team at the British Columbia Conference. She is especially interested in graphic design. Her three favorite people are her pastor/teacher husband and her son and daughter.
